This bright and airy beauty features KraftMaid Vantage’s “Courtney” raised panel full overlay cabinetry painted in Canvas on solid maple and accented in Cocoa glaze. The granite countertops, complemented by oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware, take this space to the next level. The three-light fixture above the island is by Progress Lighting.
BEFORE
With the cooktop, refrigerator and wall ovens clustered in one area, the right side of the kitchen was extremely appliance-heavy and created a crowded work area.
AFTER
Switching the cooktop and wall ovens to a range surrounded by a vintage brick shroud, not only created a stunning focal point, but added storage plus multiple workstations to accommodate several cooks.
BEFORE
The wall between the kitchen and living areas was previously underutilized, and became a catchall for backpacks, purses, etc.
AFTER
The space now creates an inviting transition to both the kitchen and living areas. It is also multifunctional, with drawers, desk space, a wine cooler and plenty of places to hide mail, totes, and anything that may need stored at a moment’s notice.
